Moving through Motherhood:
A Brain-Body Sensory Experience
If you are mothering at this moment in time, whether you have babies, toddlers or school-aged children, you have surely heard the word “sensory” when it comes to describing kids. But what does any of this mean?
Here is the truth: we are all sensory beings because we have brains. This means that we are all vulnerable to becoming dysregulated (environmental factors impacting our ability to focus, feel calm, socially participate etc…)
When we understand how our own bodies become regulated (or dysregulated) this is fertile ground for a more solid understanding of our children and their sensory needs/how they become regulated or dysregulated.
Come join us for a deeply engaging and enlightening workshop that will strengthen your understanding, your practice and your relationship to yourself and your child.
